East New York Portfolio
Overview
East New York Rental Portfolio project consists of 63 buildings comprising 468 units in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn. Initially developed in the 1990s under various New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) rehabilitation programs, the portfolio suffered from years of deferred maintenance. Construction began in January of 2014 (with tenants in place) and was completed in December of 2015.

Our impact
Since 2014, BRP Companies has donated land and classroom space to Urban Harvest to expand its capacity to help neighborhood children gain an understanding of clean and fair food, and how it affects them, their families, their communities, and the planet.
